Apema or European press association for the arab world is a young and ambitious association with headquarters in the French capital, Paris. It is considered the principal meeting point for European journalists and empolyees in the European press who are interested in the affairs and issues of the Arabic world.

It was founded in 2013 under the French law governing the work of associations issued in 1901 by the ministry of Interior, and so it is a non-profit organization under this particular French law and it works to improve and develop the European-Arab relations by helping European journalists and employees in the European press to understand the arab issues clearly.

Apema or European press association for the arab world was founded thanks to the personal effort of a number of French journalists and immediately received a great response from many European journalists and employees in the European press who are interested in the Arab world’s affairs and issues. As a result, Apema’s activity rapidly moved to include many European capitals like Rome, Brussels, London and Madrid.
